Battery manufacturer Solana unveils a portable electric generator for indoor and outdoor applications.
Solana, headquartered in Shanghai, developed the "Volans" generator with a capacity of 1.28 kilowatts, and it can increase to 2.5 kilowatt-hours if the new generator is integrated into a two-socket system.
A spokesman for the company said that the "Volans" generator provides multiple charging options, as it can be connected to solar panels as an electricity generator, or charge the device via car chargers, AC inputs, or fast charging if there is a charger to connect electricity, according to the "B" website. in Magazin.
Features of a Portable Electric Generator
According to the company, the new generator features a voltage of 120V AC, a continuous output power of 1200W, while a peak output of 2400W.
The Volans generator weighs approximately 30 kilograms and can be fully recharged in one hour.
The company says that the used Lithium Iron Phosphate (LifePO4) battery has a lifespan of 10 years, and the charging and discharging cycles reach 6,000 cycles.
Its usable storage capacity is 1.02 kWh, and the battery capacity is 50 Ah.
The system can also be used with LED lights with a maximum power of 3 kW, and an operating temperature range of between 10°C and 40°C.
Solana Batteries
Solana excels in the production of batteries, and was able to develop a lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4) during the past year, for use in high-consumption residential buildings and in commercial and industrial buildings.
The company claimed that the "Solana HV20K" battery will be available with a total capacity of 20 kWh, with a depth of discharge of up to 95%, with a 10-year warranty.
She indicated that the battery capacity could reach 80 kilowatt-hours if combined with a device consisting of 4 units.
The company stated that the battery will be available for sale starting from the first quarter of 2022.
