OkayCode is one of the most popular Sudoku solvers for Android. It's a very basic app. It solves puzzles in the traditional 9x9 grid like you see in newspapers. You just enter the numbers given to you by the puzzle and it'll be solved from there. That's good for a lot of people because it works with the most popular versions of Sudoku. Plus, it's completely free with no in-app purchases or ads.

Snap Solve Sudoku is another great solution for Sudoku on mobile. This version is very similar to the OkayCode version, except that it supports OCR. Basically, you take a picture of the puzzle from the book or paper you found it on and the app inserts the code for you. You can still do it manually if needed as well. It also saves your previous Sudoku boards for future reference if needed. The app is free to use, but you can optionally donate if you want.
Sudoku Expert

Sudoku Expert is a mix between a sudoku solver, a sudoku tutor, and a sudoku game. It has over 5,000 puzzles inside the app. However, it also comes with an integrated solver where you enter your own puzzle and the app will solve it for you if you like. Pretty good, though it can feel cramped on small devices and some people just don't like the blue shading. Anyway, it's definitely a good solution to use and it doesn't hurt to have another 5,000 puzzles to carry around with you.
Sudoku Solver Camera

Sudoku Solver Camera is a nifty little tool for Sudoku fans and is also a great demo of AR and OCR technology. The app opens the camera and points the camera at a sudoku puzzle. You can write down the answers. This works as a great checker tool to see if you did a puzzle right or as a solver if you run out of time. It's relatively new so we're not sure if your phone will have bugs with it, so beware.

Sudoku Solver for Cuban Tea

Sudoku Solver by Shai Alkoby is another decent solution. This works on the typical 9x9 grid as well as 16x16 grids. Otherwise it works like most others. You enter the numbers you know and the app fills in the rest. This is one of the few Only it can do both sizes, so it's a good tool for casual Sudoku fans. We also like that this app is set to show numbers one by one as hints instead of just blowing up the whole answer in one go. This is good for people learning Sudoku and people wanting to check their answers.

There are a metric ton of sudoku solvers on the internet. You can easily open a Google search, type “sudoku solver” and get all kinds of options. This is what a lot of people do on a computer, but it's totally doable on a phone or tablet too In some cases, like with the Sudoku Wiki, the website version is more powerful than the mobile app version.
