According to the opinion of some of those, Algeria cannot venture to withdraw from the African Union because of the fear that this would accelerate the loss of the Polisario Front's seat in the Union.
Yesterday evening, Thursday, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced its official return to the African Union, assuming the seat of an “observer member.”
And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that Adamso Alali, the Israeli ambassador to Ethiopia, submitted his credentials as an observer to the African Union, after the approval of the Secretary-General of the organization to Tel Aviv’s request to return to the position of “observer member.”
